Ordering & Shipping
When you place your order you will only have the payment option of cash on delivery. What this means is that when you check out I will receive your order and then package it up so that I can figure the shipping cost. Shipping is calculated by weight and destination – the actual amount, I don’t charge handling. You will then receive a PayPal invoice for the amount and directions on how to make a payment. A little more work than an automated system but usually less expensive for you. If you would like to send a check or money order, please let me know, (I can accept those also, but they will need to clear first.)All shipping within the United States is through USPS Priority Mail. If you need your package shipped using a different method, please contact us directly for a shipping quote.
International Shipping: Due to the AmmoCounters containing "Ammo" , difficulties sometiimes arrive with international shipping. I have found that the simplest way to handle problems is to only ship the wooden counter without the brass. So if you are interested in purchasing AmmoCounters, but don't live in the U.S.A contact me with the list of AmmoCounters you would like and I will quote you the price without the brass. (I use .38 caliber brass so you will need to supply brass of that size.)
Most orders are shipped within 48 hours. If there is a problem I will contact you.
The reasons that I do not use an automated/PayPal check out are:
· I only charge you the actual postage, which is usually less than what an automated shopping cart calculates.
· The store does not have an automated stock system, so it cannot keep track of out-of-stock items. I don’t want you to be charged for something that I may not have enough of.
· The shopping cart cannot adjust your total for out of stock items - and we never charge you for anything until it is ready to ship.
· If a customer does not hit the "Return to Merchant" button at the end of the Paypal process, the order is never submitted and just disappears into the Paypal aether. Then customers ask for an update and I never received the order due to this minor glitch!
I try my best to have a supply of all my items in stock. But because these are handcrafted items I can not call my distributer and have a restock overnight. If I am out of an item I will contact you and give you an idea of how long it will take me to make more.
When ordering you will have a choice to decline insurance should you wish to do so. If you decline insurance there is no ability to recover the shipment value from the delivery service and a new parcel will not be shipped to replace a lost parcel. Decline insurance only if you want to take the risk.
If you are unhappy with a purchase for any reason, I am generally happy to accept a return; I want my products to be loved. But returns are subject to the following conditions:
- All returned products must be returned in their original condition. Your original receipt must accompany any returned products.
- You must notify us to arrange return of the product. Items must be returned at your expense unless we specifically agree to cover return postage.
- All refunds will be made in the same form of payment as the original sale. Exchanges are also accepted.
You must request a return within 30 days of the shipping date of the order.
The AmmoCounters are gaming accessories and have small parts which may be HARMFUL if swallowed. They are NOT toys and are not recommended for children under the age of 13. Das SpielUnker makes no warranty, implied or otherwise, for the use or purpose of these products.
All products on this site are protected by Copyright and copying the items or designs is not permitted and will be prosecuted. (It’s amazing how many people don’t realize that crafted wooden items are protected by copyright just like artwork.)

I make every effort to recycle packing materials I use in my shipments. I can recall buying packing peanuts once in the beginning months of my business. I typically "recycle" these peanuts or packing bubble wrap or use plain old newspaper. So place an order and help the environment.
